OVERVIEW

Vortex is a clothing brand focused on producing minimal, clean, and accessible apparel. The brand emphasizes simplicity and versatility, with a product range that includes clothing and accessories such as sweaters, hats, socks, and bags.

Vortex's identity built around simplicity and flexibility, balances clean design with a system that can adapt across different products and formats.

The goal was to create a brand that feels effortless and wearable, while still maintaining a strong and recognizable visual presence.

DESIGN SYSTEM

IDENTITY

The identity includes both a wordmark and logomark that can function independently or together, allowing flexibility across applications.

SCALE & PLACEMENT

The system allows for flexible placement and scale, with the logomark often used as a large watermark while the wordmark anchors compositions. Placement rules ensure consistency while allowing creative variation across formats.

COLOR

The core palette is built on black and white to reinforce minimalism and versatility, with additional colors introduced selectively depending on context or product.

TYPOGRAPHY
